PLANT TISSUE QUESTIONS
1. Describe the Dermal tissue system and its functions.
2. Name two types pf vascular tissue, and identify their functions.
3. List three functions of ground tissue.
4. Guard cells are the only cells of the upper epidermis that have chloroplasts. Based on what you know about the function of guard cells, why do you think guard cells contain chloroplast?
5. Some herbicides contain a chemical that breaks down waxy substances. explain why such a chemical may be useful in a herbicide.
